Analysis of the Structural Model of Professional Culture in Tennis Sports Industry

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the structural model of professional culture in the tennis industry. This research was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of nature, it was carried out in a descriptive-correlational way. The statistical population of this research included all tennis coaches and athletes in Iraq, and based on Cochran's formula, 385 of them were selected as a sample. For more assurance, more than 400 questionnaires were distributed and 393 questionnaires were correctly analyzed after returning. The research tool included a researcher-made questionnaire. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was checked by 8 experts and its reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha method. The software used in data analysis was PLS. Based on the obtained results, professional ethics is effective on cultural values and professional responsibility in the tennis sports industry due to the mediating role of psychological culture and media culture. According to the findings of this research, it is suggested to pay more attention to professional ethics and elements of ethical culture in team and individual tennis training. Also, different exercises and training programs can be designed to reinforce cultural values and professional responsibility in the sport of tennis.
