Investigating the obstacles and limitations of volleyball development in Isfahan province

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the obstacles and limitations of volleyball development in Isfahan province. The current research is practical in terms of its purpose, which was carried out in a survey way. The statistical population of the study consisted of six groups of volleyball residents of Isfahan province, including players, coaches and referees with experience in provincial leagues and above, veterans of volleyball in Isfahan province, members of the volleyball media and knowledgeable managers of volleyball and sports in Isfahan province, which numbered 600. People were estimated. According to the table of Karjesi and Morgan, the sample number was 234 people who were randomly selected by stratification, of which 229 questionnaires were completed. The library method and polling of 5 university and volleyball experts in Isfahan province were used to collect information and prepare a questionnaire. The questionnaire included 32 closed-ended questions based on a five-point Likert scale from very high = 5 to very low = 1. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine the reliability, which was calculated as 0.77 and is acceptable. The results showed that the observed value of t is greater than the critical value of t at the error level of 0.05 and also the amount of obstacles and limitations of volleyball development in Isfahan province is higher than the average level according to the obtained average; Therefore, obstacles and limitations have an effect on the development of volleyball in Isfahan province.
