This research aimed to model model a sustainable sports supply chain with a digital innovation approach. The present study was quantitative and of a descriptive-correlational type. The statistical population consisted of all stakeholders in the sports product supply chain in Iraq (producers, distributors, and consumers). Using stratified random sampling and Cochran's formula, 400 individuals were selected, from which 378 valid questionnaires were collected. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire based on qualitative interviews with confirmed validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in Smart PLS software. The findings showed that necessities (causal conditions) and strategies have a direct and significant impact on the sustainable performance of the supply chain (core category). Furthermore, strategies directly and strongly led to the achievement of desired outcomes. In contrast, intervening factors had a significant negative impact on sustainable performance. Therefore, based on the findings, it is proposed to establish a national integrated digital platform for the management, tracking, and optimization of the sports product supply chain in Iraq, with the participation of government institutions and private unions.
